🥚 How to Store Your Farm Fresh Eggs

Our eggs arrive with their natural protective coating — called the "bloom" — intact. This is what makes farm-fresh eggs special. Follow these simple steps to keep your eggs at their best:

• Do not wash your eggs — the bloom protects them naturally. Washing removes this coating and requires immediate refrigeration.
• Counter storage: Unwashed eggs can safely stay at room temperature in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks from delivery. In Florida's heat and humidity, we recommend refrigerating sooner.
• Refrigerator storage: Once refrigerated, eggs stay fresh for up to 3 months. Store in their carton with the pointed end down.
• Once refrigerated, keep them cold — moving eggs back and forth causes condensation that can introduce bacteria through the shell.
• Cracked eggs: Use immediately or discard.
